Kerri and Michael at Park Savoy

Kerri and Michael were set up by a mutual friend in November of 2015. “Michael was stuck in traffic, but we decided to meet up anyway. Good thing we stuck it out; we’ve been together ever since!” Kerri exclaimed. It didn’t take long for the two to realize they’d found their forever partner. Michael planned a long weekend out in the North Fork of Long Island, where they visited wineries. It was following a walk on the beach that he got down on one knee and proposed to Kerri with a custom engagement ring.

The bride wore a classic lace gown with an A-line silhouette, low-cut back, and crystal belt cinching her waistline. She accessorized with pearl accents–a family tradition started by her grandmother on her wedding day–and an aquamarine ring from her mother that served as her something blue.

The couple wanted their wedding to stand the test of time and fell in love with everything the Park Savoy Estate had to offer, including the beautiful, sprawling grounds and gardens. “Each room in the estate offers its own character and charm,” the bride shared.

At the end of the night, guests were sent home with lovely memories and custom playing cards as a nod to an activity Kerri and Michael both enjoy. The cards read, “We sealed the deal” and had their names and wedding date written on them.

FAVORITE MEMORY

The groom shared that his favorite memory of the day was reading his vows to Kerri. “It hit me immediately that we were finally getting married after a few postponements and I was so happy knowing we were finally doing it!”
