As the Broker and Owner of Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties, I am proud of the 463 years of combined experience our 24 agents have.

I’ve been a broker associate with Coldwell Banker and our predecessor Red Lady Realty for seven years. As a real estate attorney for decades, I have extensive experience in residential, condominium and business sales and I’ve been a homeowners association attorney. A graduate of Penn State University and Columbia University Business School, Eric moved to Crested Butte in 1971 from New York. Since 1971, Eric has owned and operated several restaurants. Through the 70’s and 80’s he was active in building and renovated several historic properties, developed condominiums and several commercial projects. He is comfortable with all types of real estate and is knowledgeable in the continuing development of the Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte area. Over the years, Eric has served on the Crested Butte Town Council, the Board of the Crested Butte State Bank, and a founding member of the Center for the Arts and the Crested Butte Academy.
With his wife, Ruth, living in the Crested Butte Meadows, they have raised their 2 children, Pearce, and Alexis. Pearce, a film editor, lives in Whitefish, Montana with his wife, daughter, and Alexis, a realtor working for CBH Homes, resides in Boise, Idaho.

Hello from Crested Butte. What a place to live and realize your dreams. I moved to Crested Butte in 1991, after graduating from Castleton State College VT, with everything I owned in the back of my car. I knew this was the place for me when I visited on a ski trip a year earlier. I grew up skiing in Pennsylvania and Vermont, those mountains seem so tame after living here for over 30 years. This is where I met my wife, Amy, and got married in the mountains, started my family and had our son Magnus.
I started working for Coldwell Banker in 1993, shooting pictures and doing office work, after years of gaining valuable real estate experience, I earned my license in 1999. From there I have been selling and listing real estate in the Gunnison Valley the whole time, gaining experience, building trust, making clients in to friends and sharing my extensive knowledge of the area. Heather skied her way to Crested Butte in 1991. Born and raised in New England and Quebec, she moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1987 to study at the University of Colorado.
