We have identified key indicators that impact home values and use this information to forecast local market trends that help our clients make informed decisions about buying and selling real estate. Single Family Homes - Overall sales on the island increased significantly during the third quarter, while listing inventory dropped sharply. Despite improving market conditions, the average price of homes sold declined. Single family data indicates that sales activity will be strong during the upcoming season, but it will be important for sellers to be realistic about values. Condominiums – Condominium sales on the island were unchanged despite an increase in the number of properties listed for sale. Prices did not increase, Condominium values are holding in spite of increased inventory, but a substantial rise in price is not expected in the near future.
