Dollar Tree, Inc., headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, is the largest and most successful single-price-point retailer in North America. In spring 2018 they moved forward with plans for a distribution center in Morrow County, Ohio. As a result, Dollar Tree will be the second largest employer in the county, investing more than $125 million into the project and creating 400 new jobs for the Columbus Region.

This is the company’s first expansion outside of its headquarters in San Francisco’s Design District. The company expanded to centralize its warehouse operations, as well as finance/accounting and customer experience/fraud departments. Huckberry invested $240,000 towards training, machinery, and equipment and added 158 jobs.

Founded in 1862 and headquartered in Oldenzaal, The Netherlands, and Kruishouten, Belgium, Bleckmann is a market leader in providing specialty supply chain services and operates extensive logistics and distribution services to the retail and e-commerce industries throughout Europe. Bleckmann is dedicated to third-party logistics in the fashion and lifestyle sector. They entered the U.S. market with a $3.5 million investment in a 175,000 square foot distribution center in the Columbus Region. The facility employs over 200 people in warehouse operations, production, supervisory roles, and operations management, with about a fifth of the positions in management and administration.
