Spanish adventurers and missionaries explored the region decades later, giving way to miners and cattle ranchers who saw the potential in the land and eventually made a permanent home there.

It is a descendant of one such pioneer, Lloyd Golder III, who partnered with Edward Robson in more recent years to create and grow the SaddleBrooke community. It is easy to see what attracted those early settlers, as well as the visionaries who saw fi t to offi cially develop that enchanting land.
