‘Old Dog, New Dog’ Campaign Launches As a leader in finding homes for people for more than 110 years, Coldwell Banker® is continuing its successful Homes for Dogs Project, which has inspired another story about how dogs help to make a house a home. By now, some of you probably have seen Coldwell Banker’s heartwarming new TV ad, “Old Dog, New Dog,” which debuted in May and promotes our National Pet Adoption Weekend, set for October 13 and 14. Since partnering with national adoption network Adopt-A-Pet in 2015, the Homes for Dogs Project has helped place more than 20,000 pets into loving homes. Like our highly acclaimed “Somebody to Love” ad in 2017, the new commercial tugs at your heartstrings. The “Old Dog, New Dog” spot takes place at an adoption event where a Coldwell Banker affiliated agent is working with a volunteer who points out an older dog among all the frolicking puppies. As the volunteer explains that it’s often harder to find homes for senior dogs, a young girl enters with her parents and is immediately drawn to the older canine. The ad flashes forward to a tea party in the little girl’s new home. Sitting across from her at the table is the bulldog – named Cooper – dressed in a top hat and tie, loving his new life and home. Coldwell Banker’s involvement in projects such as Homes for Dogs reflects our commitment to making lifelong connections and making a difference in the communities we serve.
