SCREEN PRINTING
Description: Create contemporary wallpapers or paper garments from paper, textiles and mixed media usng 2D and 3D techniques.
Description: Over print on pre made stock using screen printing techniques to create graphics on various materials depending on the course of interest.
Max Numbers: 1-30 students Length: 30-60 minutes Suitable for learning about: Design Crafts, Textiles, Fashion
DRAWING MACHINE Description: Oh no, your paper has fallen on to the floor but you are not allowed to pick it up. You have to create a ‘machine’ that can reach the paper and draw from a distance! The more unusual the machine is the better! Max Numbers: 1-30 students Length: 30-60 minutes Suitable for learning about: Fine Art, A-Level Fine Art, Level 1, 2, 3 Art & Design
MINI ARCHITECTURE Description: It’s surprising what you can make from just a block. In this workshop, taking inspiration from images of architecture, you can create your own building from just a simple block of polystyrene and a sticky label which is then placed onto our scale model! Max Numbers: 1-30 students Length: 30-60 minutes Suitable for learning about: Interior, Architecture & Product Design

ORIGAMI ACCESSORIES Description: Using paper pleats and folds, create a piece of jewellery/costume as a group on one of our mannequins that wouldn’t look out of place on the cat walk. Max Numbers: 1-30 students Length: 30-60 minutes Suitable for learning about: Fashion, Textiles, Design Crafts, A-Level Textiles with Fashion *This can also be booked as an internal workshop run by academic staff using CCAD facilities
CHARACTER CREATION Description: Design a character on paper then create it from plasticine for the remaining time! Max Numbers: 1-30 students Length: 60 minutes Suitable for learning about: Interactive Media.

BLIND DRAWING
Description: Using mixed media and collage techniques, create a fashion silhouette and develop this using mixed media to create amazing 2D outcomes.
Description: Have you ever tried drawing an object that you can’t actually see? In this one you will do just that! Using one hand, you have to feel the object and with the other hand, you have to draw what you can feel.
Max Numbers: 10-30 students Length: 90 minutes Suitable for learning about: Fashion, Textiles, Design Crafts, A-Level Textiles with Fashion *Please note that this is an internal workshop only and can only be done within CCAD.
PHOTOGRAPHY – THE FORMAL ELEMENTS Description: Students introduced to formal elements. Introduced to DSLR Auto Functions. In groups, you will be given a Formal Element such as line, shape or texture and then have half an hour to take images.* Max Numbers: 10-20 students Length: 120 minutes Suitable for learning about: Photography A-Level Photography *Please note that this is an internal workshop only and can only be done within CCAD
