During the Activity: (Walk to an area in the room and play the sound.) Can you find the sound? (Pause.) Great job! You found it! (Walk to another area in the room and play the sound.) Can you find the sound this time? (Pause.) Great job! You did it! Where is the sound coming from now? (Play the sound again if needed.)
Bible Story
Healing a Man Born Blind
(John 9:1-12)
Remember This
“Everyone who heard him was amazed.”
Luke 2:47, NIV
Say This
Who is amazing? Jesus is amazing.
After the activity, say, “In our Bible story, we learned about the man who had been born blind. That means he couldn’t see for his whole life. When your eyes don’t work, you use your other senses more like hearing, touch, and smell. In our activity, you used your ears to find the sound, and you did an amazing job! Jesus is amazing because He made the man see! Jesus did something ONLY He could do. Jesus is amazing. Who is amazing? Jesus is amazing.”
“God, thank you for sending Jesus because you love us. Jesus was kind to everyone, and he helped them. That’s amazing! We are SO glad that Jesus wants to be our friend forever. We love you, God. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.”
