Activity

Lots of Love

What You Need: Towel, paper, scissors, and marker

What You Do:

Cut small hearts out of paper, one each for you and your child. Write your names on the hearts.

Say, “Bend down and grab the towel in front of you with both hands. (Pause.) Great job! Now let’s wave it gently by moving our arms up and down. (Demonstrate.) And now, let’s add some hearts. (Add heart cutouts.) These hearts have our names on them. Do you know why? Because Jesus loves us! Let’s shake the towel and make them bounce. (Pause.) Awesome!” (Repeat as desired.)

“Jesus loves YOU no matter what, too. There is absolutely nothing you could ever do to make Jesus stop loving you. Jesus loves you, and He wants to be your friend forever. Who loves you? Jesus loves me.”
