Activity
Hands to Help
What You Need:
Large paper, washable markers, and painter’s tape
What You Do:
“In our Bible story, Tabitha and Timothy helped others. There are SO many ways we can help. Let’s trace our handprints on the page! (Trace your child’s hand on the paper.)
“[Child’s name], tell me one way you can help someone this week and I’ll write it on your handprint. . . Great idea! (Write down their response.)
“Can you trace my hand? Then, I will write down one way that I can help someone this week. (Encourage your child as they trace your hand on the paper, then write a way you can help someone.)
“Okay, it’s your turn again. (Repeat as long as time and interest allow.)
“Wow! Look at all these ways to help! I’m going to hang our handprints on the wall so we can remember that God made us to help others this week.”
