FRIENDS OF THE GALLERY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Cowra Regional Art Gallery — Friends of the Gallery Committee is holding its upcoming Annual General Meeting and also calling for calling for Committee nominations. The “Friends of the Gallery” is a Section 355 Committee of Council and is guided by Council’s procedures and responsibilities, including the election of a Committee. The Friends of the Gallery Committee provides a range of voluntary support and fund-raising roles for Cowra Regional Art Gallery. While no particular qualifications are necessary, a commitment to the activities of the Friends Committee and a willingness to be actively involved is essential. Nominations will be taken at the Friends of the Gallery AGM on Thursday July 13 at Cowra Regional Art Gallery, 77 Darling Street, Cowra commencing at 5.30pm. PUBLIC DISPLAY OF DRAFT COWRA COUNCIL SWIMMING POOL INSPECTION POLICY At its Ordinary Meeting held on 26 June 2017, Council resolved to place on public exhibition the Draft Cowra Council Swimming Pool Inspection Policy. The Draft Cowra Council Swimming Pool Inspection Policy is placed on public display from Friday 30 June 2017 until 4pm on Friday 28 July 2017. Council invites all interested persons, community groups and businesses to inspect the documentation, which can be viewed at Cowra Council’s Customer Service Centre, 116 Kendal Street Cowra, Gooloogong Handy Mart, King Street Gooloogong and Woodstock Post Office, Rankin Street Woodstock. Alternatively, the documentation can be downloaded via Council’s website at www.cowracouncil.com.au (click on the ‘public exhibition’ link).

Notice is hereby given that Cowra Shire Council, as Consent Authority under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, has received the development application as set out in the Schedule 1 below. The application details and plans relating to the development to which this notice refers may be viewed at Cowra Shire Council’s Customer Service Centre, 116 Kendal Street, Cowra between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (Public Holidays excepted) or on Council’s website www.cowracouncil.com.au from 30 June 2017 to 14 July 2017. Any person may make a written submission to the Cowra Shire Council about the proposed development before 4.30 pm on the closing date, being 14 July 2017. If the submission is an objection, the grounds of the objection must be specified in the submission. Written submissions should be addressed to The General Manager, Cowra Shire Council, Private Bag 342, Cowra NSW 2794. Expressions of Interest Cowra Council Virtual Museum Working Party Expressions of Interest are invited from interested individuals for three community member positions on the Cowra Council Virtual Museum Working Party. This will be a voluntary role for approximately one year. Over the next 12 months Council, through the Virtual Museum Working Party, will be investigating the feasibility of establishing a virtual museum for Cowra. The Working Party will investigate and report on the proposal to develop a Virtual Museum to ‘Tell Cowra’s Story’. Expressions of Interest are open until 4pm Friday 28 July 2017.
