Events Village Voices The Merriganowry Hall is proud to be hosting an afternoon full of family fun and entertainment as part of this year’s Heritage Festival. Take a trip down memory lane with a unique photographic and memorabilia exhibition focused on the local area. The day will also feature talks about local history and an original first-time performance of a one-act play dramatising the establishment of the Shire’s soldiers' avenue of trees in 1917. This performance will feature players from Cowra Musical & Dramatic Society. The day finishes with a special plaque dedication ceremony commemorating the 200th anniversary of the 1817 Evans / Oxley expedition. Morning tea and BBQ lunch will also be available for purchase on the day.
