Please follow the direction of traffic controllers, follow traffic signs and keep to the reduced speed limits.

MID WESTERN HIGHWAY REHABILITATION - COWRA We will be working with businesses to ensure access for customers and staff is maintained at all times. We will provide signage to identify any alternative entry points.

The NSW Government is funding this $2.2 million essential maintenance between Shelley Street and the West Lachlan Bridge, Cowra, to provide a longer lasting and safer road.

We will display up to date information, including any date changes and delays on electronic message signs along the road.

Delays are expected due to changed traffic conditions.

Traffic control will be in place and speed limits will be reduced to 40 kilometres an hour in the work area.

Roads and Maritime Services is delivering the project, which involves strengthening and resurfacing a 400 metre section of road to help improve safety, ride quality and smoothness for all road users. Work is expected to start in September 2017 and finish in one month, weather permitting.
