Interruption to Koorawatha Water Supply Wednesday 3 October 2018 9.00am—3.00pm Council intends to carry out water main maintenance work in Koorawatha on Wednesday 3 October 2018 between 9.00am and 3.00pm. For your convenience and to assist this exercise, residents should: 1. Draw off and store sufficient water for your needs for the period of interruption. 2. Please do not turn on any tap during the interruption. If you inadvertently turn one on please turn it off immediately. 3. When supply has been restored, run the following taps for two minutes in the following order UNTIL the water becomes clean and free of air: • a garden tap • a cold water kitchen tap • all hot water taps Do not use a washing machine or any other water using appliance until the water has become clean and free of air. For any water using devices, comply with manufacturer’s specifications and/or recommendations for restoration of water supply. Cowra Business Chamber - Cowra Business Hub At the Ordinary Council meeting of Monday 27 August 2018, it was resolved that in accordance with section 356 of the Local Government Act, Council give notice of its intention to provide financial assistance up to $58,363.64 to the Cowra Business Chamber for a two year period to assist in establishing a Cowra Business Hub. Submissions on this matter should be addressed to the General Manager and be received by 4.30pm on 28 September 2018.

Cowra Shire Council 2019 Application For Street Stalls Applications are invited and will be received up until Friday 12 October 2018 from local organisations desiring to hold street stalls on any Council controlled footpath during 2019. Applications will only be accepted on the official application form and must be accompanied by evidence of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum of $20 million and written approval from the relevant business premises proprietor. Applications will only be considered from local charitable, educational, sporting or religious organisations and will be processed in accordance with Council’s Street Stall and Fundraising Activities Policy. Council’s application form and Street Stall and Fundraising Activities Policy are available from Council’s Customer Service Centre or online at www.cowracouncil.com.au under the “Council Forms” section.
