When Kringle surprises customers and employees alike by claiming that he really is Santa Claus, it leads to a court case to determine his mental health and more importantly, his authenticity.

Swimming classes to survive in January What’s one of the most important skills that we should all have? The ability to swim to save yourself is vital to all Australians but one that has been neglected in recent years. Cowra Aquatic Centre is partnering with the Office of Sports with classes that could save your child’s life starting Monday, January 8 for two weeks. Lessons cater for children aged 18 months to 12 years and provide everything from water awareness through to developing strokes and endurance. 2018 Application for Street Stalls Applications are invited and will be received up until Friday 22 December 2017 from local organisations desiring to hold street stalls on any Council controlled footpath during 2018. All organisations that applied for a 2017 street stall must re-apply for a 2018 allocation. Applications will only be accepted on the official application form and must be accompanied by evidence of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum of $20 million and written approval from the relevant business premises proprietor.

Water Mains Flushing — Cowra and Villages Cowra Council staff will be commencing from Monday, December 11, an annual program of flushing water mains in Cowra and villages.The work is aimed at reducing problems with sediment and calcification in water mains in the Shire. For more information, contact Cowra Council on 6340 2070.

Applications will only be considered from local charitable, educational, sporting or religious organisations and will be processed in accordance with Council’s Street Stall and Fundraising Activities Policy.
