Pressured by her friends, Vee decides to join Nerve, a popular online game that challenges players to accept a series of dares. It's not long before the adrenaline-fuelled competition requires her to perform increasingly dangerous stunts. Limited recently attended a General Committee meeting with an early Christmas present for Cowra ratepayers! The insurer refunded an amount of nearly $80,000 under a Work Health & Safety incentive scheme and a Mutual Performance Rebate scheme that rewards councils for keeping their workplaces safe and healthy for their workers. The financial incentive payments are made after achieving compliance with StateCover’s key performance indicators, namely completion of the Workplace Health and Safety Self-Audit and Action Plan. The funding will be allocated towards health and safety practices and facilities and associated training.

Cowra swimming group celebrates 20th anniversary

Cowra’s famous MIPs (Movement Improvement Program) swimming group celebrated their 20th anniversary yesterday with 300 supporters attending a special event at Cowra Aquatic Centre. Cowra Deputy Mayor, Councillor Judi Smith (pictured above) congratulated the group on their success in providing the benefits of aquarobics to hundreds of Cowra residents over the years.
