Christmas Street Fest has fun for everyone! The Cowra Christmas Street Festival planning committee has been busy at work ensuring this year the Christmas Street Festival has something for everyone! On Friday December, 16, Kendal and Macquarie Street will be transformed into a Christmas market place with 100 market stalls, an “eat street” and local late night shopping. With live performances from Matt Boylan-Smith, Charlotte Cooper, Cowra District Band, Cowra local schools singing Christmas carols, food trucks, market stalls, a juggling elf, CINC Christmas Wonderland, the Cowra Guardian Cracker draw, and of course a visit from Santa, there is fun for the whole family. The young and young-at-heart will come close to nature at the “Old Kentucky Animal Farm” with a friendly sheep, a cheeky goat and an affable rooster all part of the petting zoo experience. Cowra Tourism Events and Marketing Officer Elizabeth Picker, said that she is proud to be launching the 2016 Cowra Christmas Street Festival alongside Cowra’s 2016 Street Festival features the “Old Cowra Council and the Cowra Business Chamber.
