Projects Director Ray Kelly was pleased to advise that the recent working bee at Europa Park was successful and the exercise equipment had been installed satisfactorily. The official opening will take place shortly and will be advised to Rotarians and the public.
Guest Speaker Cowra Rotarians spent a most pleasant evening learning about the taxidermist at John Graham’s Taxidermy business in West Cowra on Thursday. The ‘self-catering’ evening around the home-built fire in John’s gazebo was enjoyable in the cool evening air as tender steaks and nicely cooked sausages with salad were consumed. After dinner, John explained the taxidermy procedures and showed us through his workshop. John showed the methods of shaping the foam body and stretching the skin over the body. We were also shown the various plastic eyes for different animals to make each one look life-like. Ian Brown proposed a vote of thanks to John

The Four-Way Test The Four-Way Test was conceived in 1932 by Herbert J. Taylor, a member of the Rotary Club of Chicago who served as the 1954-55 president of Rotary International. Having been assigned the task of saving a company from bankruptcy, Taylor developed the test as an ethical guide to follow in all business matters. The company’s survival was credited to this simple philosophy. Adopted by Rotary International in 1934, The FourWay Test remains an essential standard against which Rotarians measure ethical behavior. The test has been translated into dozens of languages and promoted by Rotarians worldwide.
The Four-Way Test Of the things we think, say or do: 1 2 3 4
Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
