Mulyan Public School
Leaders 2016
Induction
Congratulations to all our school leaders who received their badges of office on Friday, 5th February. It was lovely to have such a large number of parents, grandparents and friends in attendance for this special occasion. I know that each of our school leaders, no matter what role that they have, will all do an outstanding job representing our school and their fellow students. On the last day of February, our captains, vicecaptains and prefects will travel to Sydney Olympic Park to take part in the Young Leaders Day talks. Student leaders from our school have been attending this event for many, many years and have listened to some really high quality speakers. This year they will listen to speakers such as: Andrew Scipione , the NSW Police Commissioner and Leticia Lentini, Events Manager and Brand Marketing Manager at Google Australia to name just two. I know that our leaders will come back to school inspired, motivated and with an enhanced idea of what it takes to be a leader.

Primary Swimming Carnival Recently our Primary Swimming Carnival was held at the Cowra Aquatic Centre on a beautiful sunny day. Congratulations to all those students who attended and participated so whole-heartedly. It was lovely to see so many children getting into the spirit of the carnival and enjoying themselves as well. From this carnival, a school squad was selected and those children will now compete at the District Carnival in Cowra on Friday, 19th February.

The members of the Raiders will be at our school from 11.45am to 12.25pm.
