SCHOOL SWIMMING SCHEME In Weeks 8 and 9 this Term our school will once again be participating in the Annual School Swimming Scheme. This Scheme is targeted at those students who are developing water confidence, beginning swimming skills and who are not yet able to swim 50m unaided. As a small school however, we are fortunate to be able to offer swimming to all students, with the more capable students working through their stroke development and Lifesaving Levels. A permission note is attached to this Newsletter. COWRA BALLET SCHOOL – MATINEE PERFORMANCE OF “THE CHRISTMAS GRINCH” On Tuesday 28th of November HPS students will be attending the Matinee performance of the Cowra Ballet School’s “The Christmas Grinch”. Students will depart HPS via bus to the Civic Centre at 10.30am for an 11.00am start. Students who will not be attending the performance will be transported to the pool for their swimming lessons by the teacher in charge on the day. Following the performance students will walk, under the supervision of HPS teachers, to the park next to the Cowra Aquatic Centre where they will have their lunch followed by their swimming lessons. The cost for the Matinee Performance is $6.00 plus $2.00 for the bus. Students can be collected from the pool after swimming or will be walked to CPS and catch their bus home. A permission note is attached to this newsletter.
