STUDENTS OF THE WEEK: Congratulations to our Term 2 Week 9 Students of the Week!
Congratulations to all students on a brilliant Term 2! The past 10 weeks have flown by and it’s hard to believe we are at the end of another term of learning and being active. A huge thank you to Louise and Anita for stepping in as casual SAM and a thank the hard-working HPS staff and wish them all a well-deserved and relaxing holiday!

CITIZENSHIP AWARD – WEEK 9 - TERM 2 Charlotte was chosen as the Week 9 Citizenship Award winner by Mrs Pagett. Charlotte is in Year 5 and was awarded the Citizenship Award for being a positive and caring student to all others.

This year we are again offering an extended Kindergarten Transition Program for prospective 2018 Kindergarten students. This Program will be available to any children who are eligible to attend Kindergarten in 2018. If you know of any students who may benefit from this Program, or be interested in starting at Holmwood PS in 2018, please pass the information on.

Staff Development Day Students return to school
Plastic Bottle Tops
This term the students are going to create a mural made entirely from plastic bottle tops and are in need of as many as they can possibly get. It would be greatly appreciated if families could please collect bottle tops and send them in to our school. Your help is appreciated!! Please wash and dry before sending in to school.
Our End of Term Assembly will be held on Friday 30th June at 1:45pm SHARP. Mrs Hodges will be with us and we have a “Musical Extravaganza” planned with some students playing the marimbas. It will be a fantastic afternoon of entertainment so please invite Family and friends to come along. See you there!
NAIDOC WEEK This Monday the students had a NAIDOC Activity Day where they learned about Aboriginal Culture through participating in art activities, cooking, storytelling and games.
