Wednesday, 13th September 2017 Dear Parents, Welcome to week 9, the second last week of Term 3. We still have lots of events and activities taking place right up until the last week of this term. Good luck, to all our competitors and sports people participating in a variety of different activities. Premier’s Spelling Bee Yesterday we had 3 students travel to Orange to take part in the regional finals of the Premier’s Spelling Bee. The students are the school winners and runner ups. Well done to Natasha Hagar, and Bradley Bond who were our senior representatives. Both these students progressed to the third round where they were both eventually knocked out. Samara Lovis was our junior representative and she was knocked out in the fourth round. Congratulations to these 3 students for all the hard work they put in and to Mrs Ryan for preparing them so well. Boys Touch Football Yesterday our boys touch football team travelled to Bathurst to take part in the next round of the PSSA knockout against Bathurst South Public School. In a very hard game our boys performed really well and came out eventual winners 8-3. The first half was particularly close but after a team talk from their coach Mrs Beale at half time went on with the match and came away with the win. Well done boys and good luck I the next round. Girls Touch Football This morning our girls touch football team played in the next round match against Orange Public School and in a very closely fought match were unfortunately beaten 5 -3. Well done girls and a great run and congratulations Mrs Wilson for coaching them so well. Girls Soccer This Friday our girls soccer team will be playing in the semi-finals of the State PSSA knockout. We will be playing against Engadine Public School in what should be a great match. This match places our girls in the

top eight teams from right across NSW. achievement by our girls.
