The Votes Are In! And it was nearly unanimous (6‐1)! We've christened the staff newsletter Tri‐ County Connections. The newsletter will be published monthly and emailed to all staff. We ask that those programs with staff who don't have access to email to print out a few copies and distribute in mailboxes or leave in common areas.
Kim Piser: 25 Years at Sunnyside! This month one of our own has reached a very special milestone. Kim Piser has been at Sunnyside Center for 25 years! During that time she has touched the lives of thousands of children. We want to wish Kim a Happy Anniversary and thank her for her dedication over the years!
Our Catholic Charities Tri‐County Services Fall Picnic at Sunnyside Center in Troy is set for Friday, September 30th from 11:30‐3pm. Feel free to stop in during this time as your schedule allows. We will keep food ready so we can try to accommodate everyone’s varied schedules. Please RSVP to Justine Carroll via email at jcarroll@ccalbany.org by Monday September 26th. Last year’s picnic was great fun and a wonderful opportunity for the Tri‐County staff to get together and we hope you all can make it.
Back-to-School Program Results
Trivia Challenge!
Late August and early September are busy times at our programs who provide Back‐to‐School supplies for families in need. Roarke Center, Hilltowns Community Resource Center, St. John's/St. Ann's Outreach Center, Sr. Maureen Joyce Center and CoNSERNS‐U all ran successful events this year helping numerous kids across our service area to start off the school year on the right foot! Most programs have some items still left, so if you're in need of something for one of your clients that you ran out of, please reach out to each other and help if you can.
Fall is in the air! Win a $10 coffee gift card to score your first pumpkin spice latte of the season by answering this trivia question: What year was the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany founded? Email your answers to Justine at jcarroll@ccalbany.org by September 30th for your chance to win! One winner will be drawn from all correct entries.
