We are excited to announce a new and unique partnership with the Boise Metro Chamber, bringing the two largest regional chambers in the state of Idaho together in an unprecedented collaboration to drive advocacy and the business agenda. Riggs and Rabe are two of the youngest members of the Senate, and represent two of the fastest-growing parts of the state - Ada and Kootenai Counties. We will talk with them about their experience so far this session, what they hope to accomplish, and why more young people need to engage in Idaho politics.

Our February speaker is Nike (pronounced NEE-kay) Imoru, Co-founder, President of Rebel Kat Productions in Spokane, Washington. Ms. Imoru was named “One of Washington State’s Most Influential Women in Film, TV, and New Media” by Media, Inc. Nike Imoru is a British-Nigerian casting director, producer, actress of stage and screen, and actor’s coach. After 25 years as a professor and published scholar of theatre, she went into film. (Her first role was opposite Samuel L Jackson in Home of the Brave.) She is best known in the NW for casting 5 seasons of Sy Fy’s Z nation, and over 20 feature films for North by Northwest Productions. She is the Executive Producer and co-founder (along with Rebecca Petriello) of Rebel Kat Productions, a film finance company. Rebel Kat’s debut movie All Those Small Things starring James Faulkner (fr Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones) filmed in Spokane and London last year. It was acquired, for sale, by Moonstone Entertainment a few months ago. She is also the Executive producer of a TV series currently in development. Liberty’s Daughters set in around 1806 is about a former-slave, Martha and white heiress Josephine, discovering that their constitutional rights have been denied. They decide to take on the white, male Establishment and its New Republic. Ms. Imoru is a member of the Casting Society of America. She gained her PhD from the University of Warwick UK.

If you like the convenience of voting by mail, you will need to make a NEW REQUEST to vote by absentee ballot. Every calendar year Idaho voters need to make a new request to vote by absentee ballot if that is their preferred method of voting. It's easy! If you are registered to vote in Idaho, just point your phone camera at the QR code below to enter your ballot request form. The deadline to request your ballot for the March 9th election is February 26th. Or visit idahovotes.gov IMPORTANT DATES • Feb. 12th - Deadline to register to vote in the March 9th election. • Feb. 26th - Last day to request absentee ballot for March 9th election.
