CDE hosted a round table discussion in October 2007 with a cross-section of farmers and other role players in agriculture. This was an opportunity for them to place on record their experiences of land reform in the interests of broadening the debate on land issues. The proceedings of the report will supplement CDE’s research programme on land and agriculture, which is aimed at identifying a way forward for reform that will serve the ends of restitution and redistributive justice without jeopardising sustainable agriculture.
