A Message from Cameron Nicholls
Much like most Sydney peninsula pockets, Abbotsford is a bayside suburb that is tightly held and highly sought. Turn over is low and purchasing opportunities are rare which means prices are holding strong. On the whole, Abbotsford has performed exceptionally well this past financial year with some outstanding waterfront results. Home to some of the best waterfront properties in the Inner West, the desire to purchase into and live in the suburb is high. As the financial year came to a close, we saw a steady decline in Auction clearance rates across the board in Sydney, consistently sitting in the low to mid 70% range. However, not surprisingly, Auction clearance rates for the Inner West region of Sydney remained in the low to mid 80% range. There is a great attraction to the area with properties selling faster than ever before.
Business talk aside, it is great to give something back to the community that we live and work in. This past year, here at Nicholls & Co, we have been focusing on our relationships with community groups at grass roots level. We have teamed with Abbotsford Junior Football Club and Abbotsford Long Day Care Centre to lend our support and be involved in their initiatives. We value our partnerships with these brilliant family oriented organisations that promote the health, happiness and growth of Abbotsford youth. That is it from me.
