Alasdair Clements
Hometown: Glasgow, Scotland UK Current town: San Francisco CA Handicap Index: 7.2 My Favorite Golf Course is: Royal Dornoch GC, Sutherland, Scotland My Proudest Moment Playing Golf in 2012 is: Birdie 6th hole Harding Park in April 2012 Trovato was witness Harding Park No. 6 – 473 yards – Par 4 This is one formidable test from the tee shot to the final putt. A chute of trees bordering the edges of the fairway and will test the anxiety and nerves of all players. As the fairway wraps slightly to the left, the visual of the bunker laden green will force anyone’s first instinct to be doubted. The green is substantial and contains some interesting slopes that are difficult to read. Flagstick locations on the putting surface can make the hole unbearable and a chore to finish with a good score.

Match Rules • As in the Ryder Cup, each of the first three rounds 1 point per match is at stake, half points in the case of ties, with players being partnered for each match. Captains will chose teams for each of the matches and will exchange lineup cards 30 minutes before the first tee time of each round. • In Four Ball matches each players plays his own ball and plays to 100% of his handicap. • In Foursomes (Alternate Shot) - the teams use one ball, with one player teeing off on the odd holes and the other player teeing off on the even holes. Teams will play to an average of the combined handicaps. • The fourth round (Singles) players on each team will be paired against the player on the other team with the closest handicap index. Again 1 point per match is at stake. Matches will be played straight up, unless the handicap differential is greater than 1, then strokes will be granted on the appropriate holes.
Local Rules USGA Rules Apply to play. (No more rolling your ball and if you hit it OB, hit another from where you played your last shot). Double Bogey Max on Each Hole. Team Play Explanations for Handicapping In Fourball/Singles – Low handicap play to 0, everyone else gets their strokes on the appropriate holes In Foursomes - teams will play to an average of the two course handicaps – low average plays to 0 – higher group gets strokes where appropriate
Betting and Payouts Betting: • Each player will wager $100 for all group bets for the weekend. Payouts: • Each member of the winning team will receive $100. • In the event of a tie in the team competition, the team who has the most points in singles will be declared the winner. • Net Skins – Pot is $50 per player
Awards • Ian Baker Finch Jacket - the player who has the highest net score after each round will proudly wear this celebratory jacket to dinner the night of his most dubious achievement • The "Chill The F Out" Straw Hat - Awarded by the Tournament Committee to the player who could stand to take it a little easier the next 18.
