Q. Tell everyone who you are and what you.

A.-My name is Andrea Ward, I am an award-winning Film Director, Producer, Writer, Actress, Activist against domestic violence as well as the great niece of Billie Holiday.

Q. Who or what motivated you to be the person you are today?

A. My daughter is who motives me to be the best version of myself and what motivated me to be the person I am today was the moment I reached my lowest point with the struggles of domestic abuse and that I had no one to come in and save me which inspired me to be the hero that I didn’t have to be for others to inspire, motivate and make a difference.

Q. How has your experience been being a celebrity fashion stylist?

A. It’s been amazing, I did fashion designer for 7 years and styling for 4 years.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the next three years?

A. I see myself with international distribution and dominating the film industry as a black woman.

Q. Can you tell us what your favorite film is?

A. Enough because it was realistic and relates a lot to my story of my trials and tribulations during my journey. In the end I went from victim to victory.

Q. Let’s talk about the films “Deception Streets” & “Reborn Redemption” & the motivation behind the films?

A. Deception streets was a film I wrote and directed inspired by the past with a lot of darkness like a nightmare. Reborn Redemption is about a woman struggling from her past that was meant to destroy her but, in the end, her past pain became her power she found the hero deep within herself to battle her biggest fears.

Q. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A. Italy because it’s beauty and grace and can’t be touched or changed in any way.

Q. What is one fun fact about yourself?

A. I am a twin Gemini.

Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments you’ve had in your career?

A. Several nominations and award wins as a new filmmaker my first year directing, having my work on BET, actors’ credits Netflix, featured on sheen magazine, LAFW, NYFW, 20 magazine publications, earning my degree in medicine, and starting up my production company.

Q. Are you working on any new projects or upcoming events?

A. Yes, I am working on Fiend: The Awakening would be my first feature film starring Singer/Song writer Eyeamki, Keyawna Nikole, Inkwhore333 and several other major names.
