ONCE A TIGER, ALWAYS A TIGER
Even though the Gators ended up losing the fight, Barton inspired her former teammates. She continues to be a leader on the field and never gives up. Having her field hockey family cheering her on in the stands, despite the tough loss, Harley walked off the field with a smile on her face. “There’s our tiger!”, some girls yelled. “That’s my goalie!”, others cheered. Cheering on Barton to start their season, the girls are ready for their first home game on Thursday against Harford Tech. Freshman on the team having not played with Barton, were able to see firsthand that once a tiger, always a tiger!
