The stands were packed with excitement at Calvert Regional Park this past Saturday, as the Cecil Wolfpack took on many visiting teams from Harford and Baltimore County. The Cecil Wolfpack Cheer Squads kept the crowds hype with exciting routines, even joining the fans in crowd at one point.
The day kicked off with Flag Football and 6U taking on the Edgewood Rams at home, while 7U were on the road at Glasgow High School. Julian Taylor led the team in rushing and tackles with a 40 yard run.
Jayden Hernandez had several good runs as well in the 24-0 loss to the Delaware Wildcats.
9U hosted Perry Hall Gators in an exciting
10U hosted North Harford Hawks in a 28-6 victory. Durai Baker, Julian Cruz and Tavian Shamblin-West all contributed a touch down each in the big win. Gio Guina also had a key tackle that led to a recovery by LA Laws.
11U dominated Perry Hall Gators in a huge 40-6 victory. Armonee Minter-Caulk led her team with 2 TDs and two 2-point conversions. Noah Coursey and Justice Davis-Jackson both contributed touchdowns, with Evan Achuff having a pick-6 interception leading to a TD.
12U took on the defending league champs, Middle River Renegades in a 13-0 loss. Dallas Thompson led the team with three catches and a 50 yard run on a forced fumble.
14U had a big 2514 win over the Emmorton Buccaneers, to seal the final game of the night.
Makai Richmond, Zayd Fareed, Kalief Roberts and AJ Brooks all made big plays leading to touchdowns. Micah Johnson also had a couple key sacks in the exciting victory under the lights.
