02 GREEN SQUARE 2016 This project comes from the participation of a competition: WHAT DESIGN CAN DO for refugees in urban area, organized by UNHCR and IKEA foundation. Shared space, Share future Challenge : How can design help cities and refugees adapt to each other ? Designer : CĂŠcilia Palomino and Charlotte Dupayrat
the project Our goal was to create a collaborative place for the local and refugees to meet each other through interaction with plants. From field research and interviews we gather insights, and a better understanding of the situation in France. During the day, the refugees will have occupation allowing them to improve their skills, their psychological condition, to interact with others and to give a better image to local people. The sleeping shelters turn into vegetal walls with benches and tables during the day to organize activities and facilitate contact with host community. Sharing plant and vegetables within the host community space can boost the neighborhood and bring the feeling of better security.

Creation of a serie of funeral monument for the company Funeral concept. The role of the nature 2014
In our society, tombstones are most of the time perceived like sad and lifeless. They are grey and all look alike whereas everyone inside is different. the cemetery experience Most people do not go often to the cemetery because this place inspires them sadness and coldness.
The entrance of the cemetery marks the border between two worlds.
Elderly people are the most common visitors in cemeteries. They have to cross long cemetery aisles ( sometimes walking a hundred meters ) without finding a bench to sit and take a rest.

SUna
The word ÂŤSunaÂť signify sand in Japanese. This tombstone is inspired by the zen philosophy. It allows the visitor to seat on it in order to meditate. A space allows to set up a small garden composed of plants and sand. The sand garden allows the visitor to draw and write ephemeral messages with a stick.
Memori
A personalisable funerary monument
The tombstone MEMORI refers to souvenirs as indicated by its name. Close family members and friends of the deceased person can write and draw on funeral tablets and thereby they can offer more sincerity and emotion visually on the tombstone. Thanks to this new system of Personalised tablets, every tombstone becomes unique.
Use
The tombstone evolves according to the memories grafted on it. If another person is buried in the same place, an other funeral stele is added to the first one.
