Presidents Corner Gentlemen, Cruiser Heads and Fellow LC believers, Wow!!! Is it just me or did everyone else’s August fly by in the blink of an eye also? August was so busy I didn’t even realize that I had not done this article until I was halfway through Labor weekend! The bad part is September is shaping up in similar manner. I hope that everyone has had an opportunity to enjoy their LC’s in some manner this summer? Whether you drive them to work, on the weekends or can only wrench on them on the odd occasion as time permits they are fun to play with!
For those who may not have heard we have an opportunity to join fellow Cruiser Heads from across the nation on the last weekend of September at Stoney Lonesome. It looks like it might be a predominately 70 gathering, but they have opened the event/challenged other Cruiser owner to join/crash their event. So even if your LC won’t be able to make it I hope you will take the time to stop by and join in the action. For those that have never seen a 70 in person there should be plenty of most types to be seen and discovered. There will be people there that you have conversed with on Mud and probably never met in person as well as a few of the business owners that support our LC hobby/obsession. This will be a great opportunity that might not come around again very soon. So come and bring your cameras! As always I look forward to seeing as many of you that are able to make it on Saturday. Minutes of Last Meeting: Attendance: We had 10 in attendance. We did a round of intros and welcomed two new members, Robert Johnson and Harry Xenitelis, to the club! We discussed shirts and have a plan for our next order, expect an email on this topic soon. Also discussed the HAM radio testing taking place on Saturday, 12 September
