Hello fellow Toyota Heads, I hope everyone is getting ready for the Mardi Krawl in April! I know I am! I've been steady working on Olivia and she has all brand new spring bushings. What a pain that was, had to take the axles off the springs to get some movement from the springs and still had to wrestle with it! I think it's the getting up off the floor and getting back down about 30 times that wears me out, but I still enjoy working on the old gal! I had to use 3 different bushings because she has FJ55 springs and FJ40 mounts. I'm gonna straighten that out later with the same size tubing and a shackle reverse. Now it's test drive time! I'm sorry to say my drill schedule is interfering with my HOT South Cruiser meetings! I will be at the one on the 29th at Newks. 6:00pm. I'm about 6 months out from heading to the desert again,12 months is a long time to be away from the house. I am planning on going to the Mardi Krawl and GSMTR '15 this year, barring any unforeseen obstacles! I'm not sure if you guys have an Etsy account but Rainey Kirk who used to design all the GSMTR Tshirts has a place on there and he is selling a Tshirt and posters on his site. I'm including a photo of his work. My daughter found him and made my Christmas very Merry!! As most of you know, Paul is leaving us and I'm sure we will miss him! Good luck to you Paul. I'm not sure when the elections are for club officers, but I would like to say it has been a pleasure being your President for these last few years and would like to say thank you for letting me be the leader in the best Toyota club ever! I'm about tapped out from working on the FJ40, so I will close for now. I hope everyone has a great year, hope to see everyone at the meeting on the 29th and keep it in low range and crawl. Your most humble President, Steve.
