Genetically, this heifer is a powerhouse. Six of her seven dams in her four-generation pedigree have been donors. Her dam, Miss V8 464/6, is a past World Brahman Congress Champion and International Champion Female. A flush sold on her here in the 2008 Houston sale for $20,000. Her maternal granddam, +Miss V8 188/5, has produced as many donor cows as any female on the ranch plus two International Champion females and her maternal great granddam, +Miss Claydesta 203-807 U5, is the top earning female ever at V8, with many donor cows as offspring. At the present time we have 4 full brothers and sisters to Miss V8 566/7 with us here at Houston in our show string. They will be competitive at this show and have won championships in the past two years. This line of cattle has also been very impressive in actual feedlot carcass tests and carcass ultrasound with very high IMF scores. Miss V8 566/7 can be a powerful donor cow for any ranch in the Brahman world. She is impressive both phenotypically and genotypically. She sells heavy bred to Mr. V8 675/6, one of our top young herd sires. Her lineage and relatives have produced great cattle time and time again. She will continue that heritage. terms & conditions BIDDING: Each animal on which there are two or more bids will be sold to the highest bidder. TERMS: All cattle will be paid for immediately after the sale. Checks must be made payable to the American Brahman Breeders Association.

SPECIAL TERMS: (cattle for export) Animals that are sold for export must be paid for at the time of the sale. There will

be a representative of a forwarding company on hand to assist in this matter. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser of these cattle for export to make arrangements with the seller for the care of the animal after the sale. The American Brahman Breeders Association will place the cattle in the care of the breeder for the new owner at the price of $3.50 per head per day (paid by purchaser) until they are shipped.

DISPUTES: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters will be final. HANDLING: As their sale is effected, all animals will be maintained at the purchaser’s risk. BREEDERS GUARANTEE: Every animal in this sale is, to the best of the breeder’s knowledge, free from any disease and

are all sound. Pregnant cows are considered breeders without further guarantee. If an animal fails to breed after a trial of six months, it may be returned to the seller in good condition. Seller reserves the right to try said animal for six months and if it proves to be a breeder, return it at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves to be a nonbreeder, an animal of comparable rank or credit on the purchase of another animal will be offered.

HEALTH: All necessary health papers will be furnished in order for the cattle to be shipped anywhere. NOTE: Cattle sold for export to foreign countries must, by state law, be officially tested for the disease required by that

country after the sale is made. The seller will be responsible for this testing. Sellers must realize that foreign transactions will take longer to clear due to letters of credit, etc.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements from the auction box will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalog and all other announcements.

LIABILITIES: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the American Brahman Breeders Association

and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accident that may occur. The American Brahman Breeders Association accepts no liability for the animals after they are sold. Insurance will be available at the sale for cattle purchased if the purchaser requests it.

CONTRACT: The above terms and guarantee shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller of each animal sold. TRANSPORTATION: It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all shipping and transportation arrangements.
