Missions Update Jim and Jeanne Lowell are our missionary guests today. Missions is important to the world and important to us. It is important to the world because without missionaries and outreach many people will never hear the Gospel. It is important to us because it is one of the key ways that we fulfill the Lord’s directive to us to take the Gospel into all the world. Please stop by the missions display board in the back of the west foyer to read the recent letters and reports from the missionaries supported by Cedar Park both at home and abroad. And please don’t forget to pray for those that represent us in the mission field.

Route 56 Game Night

Cedar Park Benevolence Fund

Saturday, Mar. 27, from 9:15 - 11:00 am in Room H207.

Friday, Mar. 19 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm in the Friendship Room.

The dictionary defines benevolence as “an act of kindness, something good, generous gift, good will.” With the pressures of today’s world and unforeseen events, many families have nowhere to turn for help except their church. The Cedar Park Benevolence Fund exists primarily to assist and support the unplanned emergencies that hit us all. This fund is supported entirely by private donations and through the Pastoral Staff, it is dispensed to people in need.

Special speaker, Sarah Leach, will be sharing on the issues and solutions to sexual exploitation and trafficking.

Game Night is for all Route 56 tweens and friends. Parents are encouraged to stay and siblings can come too (if a parent stays). The event is free, just bring a snack to share as well as favorite board/card games. We will end the night with a wild and crazy “Route 56 Bunco Extravaganza!”

Memorial Lilies Memorial lilies can be purchased in memory of your loved ones at the Information Kiosk in the Lobby after the morning services. The memorials will be read at the Easter morning service and your lily will be available for pick-up after the morning service. Each lily is $8.50 and up to two names can be commemorated with each lily purchase.

Baptism Baptisms are taking place today in the 6:00 pm service. If you have made a decision to follow Christ and have not been baptized, this is your next step.

Membership Class Mar. 14 and 21 at 9:00 am in the Music Room. If you’re interested in who we are as a church and what we hope for you as a member of this community, this class is the place to start!
