General information about Lower Silesia Tourism Organization
We are the oldest Regional Tourist Organization in Poland established in 2000, very close cooperate with National Tourism Organization also established in this year We are the one of the biggest in Poland – third place in membership we bring through 119 members: regional authority, majority of communes, hosts of culture attractions, tourist branch and associations operates also in culture tourism sector We are the one of the biggest in Poland – the third place in the category of budget
Our experiences
• Participation in Interreg III C project „Tourism Partners Europe” in which we create crossboder touristic culture networking route „Touch the living history” with partners from Saxony Landestourismusverbund e. V. our counterpart on german side with our budget 150 000 Euro (2005 – 2008) in the project were also partners from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Germany (total budget of project was EUR 1,222,208.00) • Preparing a big project of road markings of culture attractions on Lower silesia
Our experiences in supporting of culture tourism
• Supporting Cisterian Route on Lower Silesia with co – financing from Polish Ministry of Sport and Tourism through road markings and other promotional activities •Creating Strategy of Development of Culture Tourism on Lower Silesia with possible connection with culture abroad routes and co – financing from Polish Ministry of Sport and Tourism •Preaparing system Standarization of touristic products of Lower Silesia including culture touristic products with co – financing from Polish Ministry of Sport and Tourism
