St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Denzil Douglas declares, “Green Energy is the Destination.”

Green energy is the destination for the Caribbean, and there is no turning back, St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Denzil Douglas told diplomats at the Third Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum in St Kitts.

Douglas was joined by 150 Caribbean participants and diplomats from the governments of the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland and the United Nations at the St Kitts Marriott Resort. Read more

CIPPET allows access to time series data on energy trends (Supply, Consumption, Transformation/ Electricity, Prices and other Social/Financial indicators) – available from 1985 to present for the Caribbean.

What’s more, while the bump in fuel sales is expected to translate into a similar increase in revenue, ethanol profit is projected to grow at a much faster pace. Read more
