Signature Cocktail: Southern Mule—Ginger infused Maker’s Mark, golden ginger apple cider, splash of ginger beer and cranberry with a lime. Signature Dish: Flounder Sautéed Meunière What makes this place unique? We’re pretty old school. Every entrée is served with a salad course, fresh vegetables and scalloped potatoes. In 1982, Charlie Golson opened the doors of his Hilton Head Island restaurant based on the cuisine of “L’etoile Verte,” a small Parisian café. Back then, the restaurant was a tiny hole in the wall, but the simple fare caught on with locals and tourists alike. Like all families, we have grown but Charlie’s maintains its standard of using the freshest ingredients of the Lowcountry on a daily handwritten menu, which combines classic French and American grill to offer something for everyone. For some, we are the special occasion destination, and for others we are a weekly standard. Another main attraction is our extensive wine list that is one of only two Best of Wine Spectator Award winners. Enjoy a bottle under a hundred dollars on Mondays for half price! Our bar offers a vibrant local scene, full of laughter and cheer. Vince grew up in Southeastern Georgia in the real estate and retail furniture business, where his family still owns and operates both businesses. Vince earned a Dual BBA in Real Estate and Banking and Finance from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. After graduating from UGA, Vince accepted a position with a regional bank in Savannah Georgia in 2001 and eventually began his real estate career in 2003. He has been selling real estate on Hilton Head Island and Bluffton since 2003. Vince is a licensed Real Estate Broker in both South Carolina and Georgia. MARCH 2017
