WELCOME! CEllA’s Round Trip has a growing staff. Rachel Hartley-Smith, Editor & Creator, has an MA in Digital Storytelling and is currently working towards an MFA in Creative Writing. She is a flailing superwoman with a mini-van and an assistantship, 1 three year old, 3 teenagers, and a border collie with a hyperactivity disorder. She manages to write on occasion. Sleep is readily sacrificed. Sarah Chavez, Co-Editor, Poetry Editor, graduated with her MA in Creative Writing, with an emphasis in poetry, from Ball State University May 2007. Since graduation, she has been teaching beginning level composition at Ball State University, both on campus and in their Correctional Education Program. Her most recent publication appeared in the journal Bent Pin Quarterly. She intends to pursue a Ph.D. in Creative Writing. Sean Lovelave, Flash Fiction Editor, is on a river right now. He has a spinning rod and a beer. Other times he teaches at Ball State University. He recently won the CrazyHorse fiction prize, and his works have appeared in Black Warrior Review, Puerto del Sol, Willow Springs, and so on. He thinks flash fiction is equal, or possibly better, than nachos. And he adores nachos. Benjamin Bryant, Art Editor, has been painting and writing for more than thirty years. His art is widely collected, and he is relatively well traveled. He’s nearly been killed outright three times in automobile and motorcycle accidents, and nearly lost his life once again last summer during an intrepid expeditionary wilderness photo reconnaissance mission when he tumbled down a mountain wash within spitting distance of Hunter Thompson’s favorite watering hole, the Woody Creek Tavern, just outside Aspen, Colorado.
Erik Crosier, Digital Literary Editor, is hanging lifeless in bio limbo.
