ENERGOTEROM is a private limited liability company based in Timisoara, Calea Sagului, no. 201. The main business since the establishment (March 1994), was the production of polyurethane foam pre-insulated pipes and elements. Thereby having a long experience and tracking trends on insulating materials, ENERGOTEROM Timisoara has increased its activity by introducing in 2007 the production of fireproof expanded polystyrene for thermal insulation and the production of EPS core sandwich panels and sandwich panels with mineral wool core for high temperature resistant roofing.

Our products are CE certified by ICECON CERT Bucharest, according to SR EN13163/2009 "Thermal insulation products for buildings. Products made of expanded polystyrene (EPS).”

Product description Specification Fireproof expanded polystyrene manufactured products include the following groups: - GC group → is a heavy fireproof product, polystyrene plates are used for thermal insulation with various serviceable areas based on physical and mechanical characteristics; - FGC group → is a heavy fireproof product, especially for facades and exterior. Products in this group do not contain regenerated polystyrene; - PGC group → is a heavy fireproof product with low water absorption. These plates or blocks of various shapes have a specific use for insulation of foundations, part of the construction in contact with the ground, cellar, facades. It is also used for construction of roads, highways, runways, as protection against frost; - NEO group → is a product of Neopor, a commodity based on a new expanding agent, being used in facades. Manufacturing equipment are automated by HIRSCH computer controlled process, the operator intervention is minimal. The raw material (polystyrene beads) is provided by BASF Germany. Enforcement of the products will be made only by trained personnel and in compliance with technical requirements developed by INCERC - "Standard for the design and execution of thermal insulation of buildings' - indicative C 107/0-02, approved by Order 1572 MLPAT / 15.10.2002. ENERGOTEROM can produce ETT fireproof expanded polystyrene products at other dimensions than the standard, maximum plate size 4000 x 1000 x 100 (or other thickness, up to 1000mm). With an automated, computer controlled (Auto-Cad), contour cutting machine, parts can be made with various forms (2D, 3D), in high demand, thermal insulation parts (falsework with various diameters and length of 2000mm), facade elements with different geometries, ornaments (indoor or garden), decorations for theaters, study materials for schools, etc.

Fireproof expanded polystyrene ETT-18 NEO (for facade) ETT-18 NEO Polystyrene is produced from Neopor. Neopor is a commodity based on a new expanding agent developed by BASF for innovative applications. Black grains are processed to form a gray - silver foam, which for a low density, for the insulating properties, is substantially better than usual EPS materials. This means that effective insulation is obtained with a significantly less amount of raw material or a thinner insulator. Properties: Defining property of ETT-18 NEO is the insulating efficiency which is inversely proportional to thermal conductivity. To achieve the same thermal conductivity as with ETT-18 NEO, higher density is required for EPS (and thus a greater quantity of material) of about 2 times (see diagram). Like other brand products ETT and ETT-18 NEO polystyrene is fireproof (class B1). Except for better insulating properties, physical and organic properties are comparable with EPS.

Thermal conductivity

Density

Thermal conductivity: The chart above shows that insulating materials made of Neopor, having a density, for ex ample, of 15 kg / m³, achieve a thermal conductivity of 0.033 W / (m × K). Traditional EPS with the same den sity has a thermal conductivity of 0.038 W / (m × K). Applications: One of the most important applications of TTE-18 NEO in construction is the facade. Generally, benefits are where, for certain reasons, a certain thickness of the insulation system without affecting efficiency is needed. Examples of application: Impact sound insulation in thermal association (ceilings of rooms with no heat source or floor heating systems - restriction regarding the height of the room). Features: Nr.
