cross country Academic Achievements
• In 2009 six Cross Country Student-Athletes were named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Fall All-Academic Team and in 2010 ten Cross Country Student-Athletes were also named to the Team.
Men’s Team Athletic Achievements
• The 2010 Men’s Cross Country Team finished in 5th place in the CSAC. • Freshman Rob Ambrose finished 19th out of 60 runners in the CSAC Championship Meet in 2010, while senior Brian Dunphy finished 15th. • Brian Dunphy, Chad Lepes and Rob Ambrose competed in the 2010 NCAA Division III Regional Meet. • Brian Dunphy won the 2009 Mule-Falcon Invitational Meet, running a personal record of 28:11 in the 8K race, and was named CSAC Runner of the Week for his efforts.
Women’s Team Athletic Achievements
• Chelsea Gummerson was selected to the CSAC First Team in 2008 after finishing 7th out of 66 runners in the CSAC Championship Meet with a time of 21:06. • Chelsea Gummerson competed in the 2008 NCAA Division III Regional Meet. • Chelsea Gummerson won the 2008 Drew University Invitational with a time of 20:50 in the 5K race, and was named to the CSAC Honor Roll for her efforts. • Petra Nilsson was named an NSCAA (National Small College Athletic Association) All-American for placing 2nd in the NSCAA Championships with a time of 21:14 in the 5K race. • Petra Nilsson had four top 10 finishes during the 1998 Cross Country Season • Petra Nilsson had three first place finishes during 1999 Cross Country Season • Jess Graham received Skyline All-Conference Honors in 2005, placing 4th in the Championship Meet.
