ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC SUCCESS In the last three years, 32 out of 45 Centenary Women’s Lacrosse players were named to All-Academic Teams; in 2010, the team achieved the top goal scoring offense amongst all Division III programs.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS
Centenary Women’s Lacrosse is proud of the academic and leadership success of these fine scholar-athletes. The team’s GPA steadily remains over 3.3 with the Athletic Department’s highest team GPA’s in 2009 and 2008. Out of a total of 45 players on the roster over the last 3 years, 32 have been named to an All-Academic Team. In 2010 Kiti Ovaskainen was Selected New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) Woman of the Year for her academic and lacrosse prowess. In 2010, Leslie Pritchard won the prestigious Cardy Gemma Award given to a senior student-athlete who displayed outstanding leadership, academic and athletic success. The women’s Lacrosse team has been a strong influence within the Council of Student-Athletes (CSA) with Lauren Lamotta serving as CSA President in 2011 and Kristen Wirasnik as Vice President in 2010.
