We give thanks for the parents who have resolved not to accept failure or mediocrity anymore and for the myriad of education providers that have ignited a new revolution for transformative education. Parents, policy makers, educators and entrepreneurs across the globe are engaged like never before. The result after months of tragic results and dire consequences for many has been a surge in activism like we haven’t seen since the early 90s! We’re also grateful that the Edreform movement has once again found its soul, although sadly it took a pandemic and polarizing politics to show them how. We have nothing but gratitude for all the educators and providers who have not skipped a beat to provide for kids, and especially the growing Yass Prize cohort that continues to show us the impossible is in fact possible. The $1 million prize will be awarded in just a few weeks to the provider that best demonstrates education programming that is Sustainable, Transformational and Outstanding in Permissionless settings – stay tuned!
Innovation at its absolute best! 64 education providers from 33 states, received over $10 Million to continue their Sustainable, Transformational, Outstanding and Permissionless work. Next week all 32 semifinalists will take part in the second annual exclusive accelerator bootcamp, where they will enjoy intimate access to one another and experts in the field to strengthen their knowledge and their pitch in this entrepreneurial process, from idea generation to implementation. yassprize.org
This year we give thanks for this great nation, our forefathers and their families who sacrificed so much so we might live free and fight for all whose struggles are still not over.

As you prepare for Thanksgiving, keep in mind those that will never truly be free without a great education. We wish you and all those close to you a Blessed Thanksgiving, a safe, happy and healthy winter, and our commitment to you that we will, like our Founders, persevere, no matter what.
