Why America? Hamilton’s Vision In partnership with the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center Wednesday, January 29, 2020 – 10am–2pm The Dirkensen Senate Office Building and The Capitol Building

TEACHER GUIDE OVERVIEW

Why America? Hamilton’s Vision Students will learn about how the new contract would function and how we would pay for it. Your classes will explore the legislative branch in person, and enjoy a dialogue with Mr. Hamilton regarding the nation’s monetary system.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE TRIP

Students will meet in the Dirksen Senate Office Building with an Alexander Hamilton interpreter (and maybe a surprise guest), and then move to the Capitol Visitor Center for a video & tour of Statuary Hall and the Rotunda. Mr. Hamilton will join in Statuary Hall at his statue for more personal interactions, as well as Q&A, as groups go through.
