T h anks To You… Thanks to you, The Center has enjoyed a banner year. In collaboration with our Resident Partners and others, our theater was busy over 155 days with events ranging from spoken word to dance to music to film. Over 10,000 students enjoyed a wide variety of classes, seminars, and workshops. The Center has become an epicenter of cultural activity in Jackson Hole. To ensure the continuation of this creative process, our Board of Directors met this summer to review our strategic plan and envision what we’d like to accomplish in the next 3-5 years. Our overarching objective was to prioritize the goals of the strategic vision with respect to balanced finances, programming, and long-term vision for the campus itself. One important outcome was The Center’s dedication to offering more collaborative work in partnership with our Residents and community members. In fact, this past spring we tested these waters by offering D-Generation: An Exaltation of Larks, a program for caregivers of patients with Alzheimer’s in partnership with Sandglass Theater of Vermont, and St. John’s Medical Center. Continuing with our experimentation, we’ll be pushing into the realm of contemporary art and jazz this October by presenting Dickie Landry, Artist in Residence, joining forces with the University of Wyoming, Art Association of Jackson Hole, and Dancers’ Workshop to present this notable artist’s multidisciplinary work through music, dance, and the visual arts. Our community is passionate about the arts, education and culture and relies upon The Center’s collective output for enrichment, connection, and fulfillment of personal endeavors. As one of our supporters and friends, we thank you for making this possible.
