w Dr. Wassell L. Burgess, President of the College
1
President's Message Central Baptist College is a concept in Christian Education
that is unique in times like these. The challenge that confronts the administration and faculty to meet the academic needs of today's students is met with determination and dedication. The
faces of the students reflected in these pages are indicative of the success that Central enjoys, for it is these students who make Central unique. Their future will in large measure de
termine the ultimate worth of the college. As the college's of ferings contribute to their lives and as they in turn contribute to God's service, Central is a success. Wassell L. Burgess, President

i: N ::.;>f.-: Dr. Harold E. Cooper, Dean Of the College
Dean's Message The photographs and the words written in this volume of The Towers are an effort to capture and retain some of Central's history for this school year. The sponsor and the staff are to be commended for their efforts in making this volume possible. It
will be especially rewarding to the students and college staff who are a part of this phase of the college's history as they recall persons and experiences of the year. There is another way in which the events and experiences of the year have been recorded. This is in the minds and hearts of those who are portrayed in this yearbook. It is the goal of Cen tral Baptist College to guide and instruct her students so that
they will be life-long witnesses to the grace and goodness of God. In this way, Central has, and will, minister to thousands who do not have the privilege of being a part of her student
H
body.
Central is a school which has a great future. As the num ber of students increases and as they leave the campus to be
"ambassadors of good will," the number will increase who come
each year to take advantage of the opportunities at the school. As the college faces this challenge, may she continue to be the college with "Christian Ideals." In His Service, Harold E. Cooper
