President's Message Central Baptist College is a vigorous, forward-looking institution that has a bright future in the academic world. These pages will reflect the objec tives of the college because they will reveal our most valuable asset, our students. These fine young men and women will move on to greater successes in their lives, and Central will always have a share in those successes.

We are pleased to present this book to all who might read it as a presenta tion of the work of Central Baptist College. Dr. Wassell L. Burgess, President.

11

Dean's Message The motto of Central Baptist College,"A School with Christian Ideals," is more than a grouping of words; it expresses the approach the school takes in seeking to educate those who come her way. Much of this spirit of education has been captured and embodied in the pages,of this issue of the TOWERS. It is our hope that the good work done by the TOWERS staff will be the means of encouraging others to take advantages of Central's unique philosophy of education. Dr. Harold E. Cooper, Dean

The CBC Choir took ten trips and one tour to Mississippi during the year. In January, the choir recorded one side of a long playing album for the second consecutive year. Central Baptist College has always drawn a large group of fine young men and women who possess superior musical abilities. Under the direction of Jim

Courtney, the college has had many excellent choirs. This year's choir is one of the finest ever.
