But what has not changed is Central City Opera’s commitment to you: We are here to educate and entertain; to open your world to the grand art form of opera and all its storytelling power. We also understand that budgets are tight and that the global pandemic has made those budgets even tighter. Our Teaching and Performing Artists work hard to deliver our programs to schools and communities across the state, and we are committed to paying them a fair fee for their work, virtually or in-person. The fees listed next to our fee-based programs reflect the cost of the artist.
Because of generous support from donors, we are able to offer scholarships to subsidize this cost. We have free programs available now, and if you see a program you would like to bring to your students but are concerned about the cost, please contact us to discuss options.
