Art workshops coming up at Long Jetty
Learn the versatility of acrylic painting in a workshop to be held later this month by Tuggerah Lakes Art Society.
Acrylics – Painting with a Twist will be led by Peter K Mottershead to demonstrate the pros and cons of this fastdrying medium and gain insight into its unique characteristics.

From layering and blending to special techniques like reverse tonal work, this workshop promises to be a fun learning experience where participants will develop images, understand the relationships of tone, contrast and colour to bring their works of art to life.

The Young Authentic and Social (YASS) program has the coming school holidays covered with three free events to be held across the region.
The award-winning arts and culture program for 12-24-yearold marginalised youth on the Central Coast hosts regular social groups, creative workshops and celebrations.
Kicking off the school holiday fun on April 13 at GNL Wyong (Gudjagang Ngara li-dhi Aboriginal Corporation) will be a Street Dance Workshop with legendary dance collective The Pioneers visiting the Central Coast for one day only.
