Foreword

We love trying things, experimenting and thinking outside the box.

Titanium steel and glass are not only our materials, but are often also the source of our ideas. We always develop new forms and products in a dialogue with the natural properties of our material. We think in extremes and sound them out. From the radical minimisation of the bath rim to the maximum radius of a circular bath, we redefine the limits of what is possible.

Glazed titanium-steel—We achieve the special evenness of our bathtubs, shower surfaces and washbasins using a wet-in-wet enamelling technique we’ve been perfecting for decades. The procedure permanently binds three ultra-thin layers of our special enamelling formula to the titanium-steel car-cass in two firing steps at 850 °Celsius. The purely natural material created thereby unites the freedom of form granted by steel with the optical, haptic and hygienic properties of glass. Its vast internal flexibility ensures the reliability and durability of Bette products.

BetteGlaze® Plus

BetteGlaze® Plus—An extra touch of sophistication for the surface, applied after the final firing. Baths, basins, shower areas and shower trays are coated with a transparent polymer film. The film is water- repellent, allowing droplets to roll off more easily and reducing deposits, which makes cleaning easier. Simply wipe with a damp cloth. No need for strong cleaning agents, saving time and helping our environment.

Special-Size—A few centimetres sometimes make the world of difference in bathroom design, especially when space is tight or an existing property is being renovated. We make planning easier with made-tomeasure baths and shower trays. The titanium steel cast is precisely

BetteSplash Spring tap—Upon request, Bette baths can also to be fitted with a quiet, discreet spring tap. The bath is filled via a tap integrated in the base of the bath.

Silicone-free wall connection—BetteUpstand lets you do away with silicone as a wall sealant around baths and shower trays. The 35-mm-high upward lip on the rim is fixed to the wall when the product is installed and covered over of tile. This 100% maintenance-free connection to the wall not only looks fantastic, but is extremely hygienic, too. BetteUpstand is an optional extra that can be ordered for a large number of baths and shower trays as well as for BetteFloor Side showers.
